Educational Foundation

The North Dakota Grain Dealers Educational Foundation, a North Dakota corporation, was founded by the North Dakota Grain Dealers Association in 1980. Its purpose is to provide scholarships to students in agricultural curriculums at North Dakota institutions of higher learning, particularly for those students pursuing careers in grain marketing, agronomy and related agribusiness. It also provides equipment grants to certain academic programs. Since its inception the Foundation has provided over $281,000 in scholarships and grants.

Instructional Aid Grants

  • $200 was awarded to the Mayville State University Agribusiness Program for the purchase of a DJI Mavic Air 2 Payload System plus accessories
  • $758 was awarded to the NDSU Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Program for the purchase of an Extech Big Digit Hygro-Thermometer & Dickey John Handheld Grain Moisture Tester
  • $735.25 was awarded to the NDSU Precision Agriculture Program for a Humimeter RHL grain moisture meter with data logger

The North Dakota Grain Dealers Educational Foundation expects to award up to eight $1,000 scholarships annually. Students must be majoring in one of the following curriculums:
